A man of few words yet a-brim with quiet charm, Matt sees the world as an artist does (which is good, because that’s kind of what he is). An effortless storyteller and a master of mood and texture, he conveys much with little and does more with less. His work is understated and beautiful; he disappears behind the camera and observes, picking out the moments that others might not see and capturing the details that often go unnoticed. He’s as comfortable operating a camera as he is directing, and shoots much of his own work. He’s also quite good to share a pie and a pint with too. You can check out more of Matt’s projects here.
